A Meeting of the Blogs

As I mentioned last week, we met fellow blogger BritGal Sarah this past Saturday. Our family met Sarah and her husband at Penn Square Mall in Oklahoma City. I saw a man in a cowboy hat wandering around the perimeter of our meeting point carrying a camera and I had a feeling this was Sarah's husband. Pretty soon he was joined by his lovely ex-pat British wife herself. She even wore the same shirt as in her blog photo so I would recognizer her. We quickly made our way to the Mexican restaurant at Penn Square Mall and had a wonderful meal together. Sarah and her husband were a real joy to get to know and we really seemed to get along smashingly. After our leisurely lunch we ladies headed upstairs to the mecca of makeup known as Sephora. The guys tagged along with us and tried to not look too uncomfortable. They weren't the only men hanging around waiting on their women that day.

After Sephora we parted, all too quickly but made arrangements to hopefully see them again this summer, this time in their territory out west. We are wanting to take the girls on some day trips to Western Oklahoma and plan to stop in and say a quick "cheerio" to Sarah and her husband.
